Announcing Immersive Scenario-based E-learning (sbl) Project-based Workshops

Sunday, December 13th, 2009

Pasadena, CA, August 22, 2007 – Vignettes for Training, Inc. (VFT) (http://www.vignettestraining.com/preview-main-workshop.htm), an e-Learning consulting company, is producing a highly in-demand workshop on Scenario-based e-Learning (SBL) Project-Based that helps organizations improve the effectiveness of their e-learning programs by engaging e-learners with immersive real-life scenarios and case situations.

Vignettes for Training, Inc. is pleased to announce the repeat delivery of its famous “Scenario-based e-Learning Project-based Workshops.” The workshop is designed to help organizations improve e-Learning with the aid of immersive scenarios, games and emotionally-charged case studies that depicts real-life events and conditions. The SBL method helps immerse and engage the learners in the learning and application of ideas. “The e-learning evokes emotional involvement of the learners. Consequently, they understand and comprehend the content better.”

The challenge, however, is that SBL requires creative process and production skills which are not commonly found in e-learning developers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts. The SBL Project-based Workshop helps the participants learn the art and instructional design of SBLs as well as how to select and effectively manage the costs of expensive software and multi-media components. It will help participants complete the “proof-of-concepts” of their SBL projects.

The SBL Project-based Workshop is facilitated by e-Learning expert Ray E. Jimenez, on December 3 and 4, 6 and 7, in Schaumburg (Chicago), Illinois, and Pasadena (Los Angeles), California. Please visit the web site for more details: http://www.vignettestraining.com/preview-main-workshop.htm

Announcing Rapid E-learning Project-based Workshop: 300% Faster Delivery, 70% Reduction of Development Cost

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

Pasadena, CA, August 22, 2007 – Vignettes for Training, Inc. (VFT) (http://www.vignettestraining.com/preview-main-workshop.htm), an e-Learning consulting company, is producing a highly in-demand workshop on Rapid e-Learning Project-Based Workshop that helps organizations dramatically increase the speed and cut the costs of development.

For over six years, Ray Jimenez, PhD, VFT’s e-Learning Strategist, has been facilitating a project-based workshop. According to Ray Jimenez, most companies fail to benefit from Rapid e-Learning because they focus on the wrong thing. “There are two ways to look at Rapid e-Learning: first, the PRODUCTION approach – using software to compress-squeeze all the content or produce the content quickly; second, CONTENT REDESIGN APPROACH – focusing the development on the 20% -valuable and must- learn knowledge and applying to this content, rich multimedia and interactivity (e.g. Flash, video, simulation, etc), while using simple tools like PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and HTML for the 80% reference or nice-to-learn content. The production approach in Rapid e-Learning is popular because of the technology push. However, the content redesign approach cuts deeper into the costs and time of development. The most significant value, however, is providing learners with faster, better, and more useful e-learning because they focus on valuable and must-learn content.

These are key issues in the “3-Minute and Rapid e-Learning Workshop” facilitated by

e-Learning expert Ray E. Jimenez, on December 3 and 4, 6 and 7, in Schaumburg (Chicago), Illinois, and Pasadena (Los Angeles), California. Please visit the web site for more details: http://www.vignettestraining.com/preview-main-workshop.htm

“e-Learning and technology-assisted learning have changed the way people learn. We hardly have the time to memorize details, and can only focus on the essentials of the absolute must in order to perform our tasks on the job. Rapid e-Learning is not only about reduction in development time and cost, but even more importantly, it is helping learners learn and apply Rapidly” – according to Ray Jimenez.

Networking Training Programs Explained

Friday, December 11th, 2009

In the modern world, support workers who can mend computers and networks, and offer regular assistance to users, are hugely valuable in all areas of industry. The world’s requirement for such qualified and commercially astute members of the workforce is growing at an impressive rate, as everywhere we work becomes more and more computer dependent. Commercially accredited qualifications are now, very visibly, starting to replace the traditional routes into the industry – so why is this? With fees and living expenses for university students increasing year on year, alongside the industry’s increasing awareness that corporate based study is often far more commercially relevant, there has been a big surge in Adobe, Microsoft, CISCO and CompTIA certified training paths that supply key solutions to a student for considerably less. Typically, students are simply taught the necessary specifics in depth. It’s not quite as straightforward as that, but the principle objective is to cover the precise skills needed (with some necessary background) – without trying to cram in everything else – in the way that academic establishments often do. It’s a bit like the TV advert: ‘It does what it says on the label’. The company just needs to know what they’re looking for, and then match up the appropriate exam numbers as a requirement. Then they know that anyone who applies can do the necessary work. Proper support is incredibly important – ensure you track down something offering 24×7 direct access to instructors, as anything else will annoy you and definitely impede your ability to learn. Never purchase training courses that only support you via an out-sourced call-centre message system after office-staff have gone home. Training companies will defend this with all kinds of excuses. Essentially – support is required when it’s required – not as-and-when it’s suitable for their staff. The very best programs tend to use a web-based 24×7 service utilising a variety of support centres over many time-zones. You will have an environment that accesses the most appropriate office at any time of day or night: Support when it’s needed. If you opt for less than direct-access round-the-clock support, you’ll end up kicking yourself. You may avoid using the support late in the night, but what about weekends, early mornings or late evenings. Every program under consideration really needs to work up to a nationally accepted certification as an end-result – definitely not some ‘in-house’ diploma – fit only for filing away and forgetting. From the perspective of an employer, only the top companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA or Adobe (for instance) will make the right impression. Anything less just doesn’t cut the mustard. A top of the range training course package will undoubtedly have accredited exam preparation systems. As a lot of IT examining boards are from the USA, it’s essential to understand how exam questions will be phrased and formatted. It isn’t good enough simply going through the right questions – it’s essential that you can cope with them in the proper exam format. Simulated exams can be enormously valuable as a tool for logging knowledge into your brain – then when the time comes for you to take the real deal, you don’t get uptight. Think about the following points carefully if you’re inclined to think the sales ploy of examination guarantees seems like a good idea: Everybody’s aware that they’re still paying for it – it’s not so hard to see that it’s been inserted into the full cost of the package supplied by the course provider. It’s definitely not free – don’t think these companies are so generous with their money! Evidence shows that when students fund each examination, when they’re ready to take them and not before, they’ll be in a better position to get through on the first attempt – since they’ll think of what they’ve paid and their application will be greater. Don’t pay up-front, but seek out the best deal for you at the appropriate time, and hang on to your cash. In addition, it’s then your choice where to sit the exam – which means you can stay local. A lot of extra profit is netted by a number of companies who incorporate exam fees into the cost of the course. For quite legitimate reasons, a number of students don’t get to do their exams but no refunds are given. Astoundingly enough, there are training companies that depend on students not taking their exams – as that’s very profitable for them. Most companies will require you to sit pre-tests and not allow you to re-take an exam until you’ve completely proven that you’re likely to pass – which makes an ‘Exam Guarantee’ frankly useless. With average Prometric and VUE examinations coming in at approximately 112 pounds in Great Britain, the most cost-effective way to cover the cost is by paying when you need them. It’s not in the student’s interests to fork out hundreds or thousands of pounds for exams when enrolling on a course. A commitment to studying and the use of authorised exam preparation tools are actually the key to your success.

Ameriplan USA – Is it Legit? Ameriplan USA Review

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

Ameriplan USA was founded in 1991 by twin brothers Dennis and Daniel Bloom. Ameriplan is the largest discounted health benefits company in the country with over 1.2 million members participating in Ameriplan’s dental and/or medical plans. They offer a less expensive alternative to traditional health care, which is called consumer- driven health care. With over $100 million in annual revenue, Ameriplan has experienced tremendous growth over the past 17 years.

The Product

Ameriplan USA offers discounted health benefits that include dental and medical care. From $14.95 to $59.95 per month, a member can receive up to an 80% discount on all dental and medical services. In addition, a member can receive substantial discounts on vision, prescription and chiropractic care. Because this is not insurance, there are no co-pays, deductibles or waiting periods and payment is due at time of service. For most people who are under insured or don’t have any insurance at all, these plans have proven to be a valuable, affordable and an essential need in today’s economic times.

The Business

Ameriplan USA has chosen the route of network marketing to bring their health discount plans to the market. While many people have a poor opinion of the network marketing industry, it is a real distribution method that when applied properly will create good results. Someone can join Ameriplan as an IBO (Independent Business Owner) for a small startup fee of $95 which will give you access to your back office and 5 websites. There is a $50 per monthly fee which is paid against any commissions owed to you. Ameriplan does offer detailed and free daily training. As an IBO, you can make money two ways. One way is by enrolling members into the health plans. The second and most lucrative is by building a downline, via recruiting, into your organization of people that in turn do the same. You then receive a portion of the volume accumulated in your group. Ameriplan has a pin system which allows you to be promoted up through the different levels thus increasing your override percentage of your team. What makes Ameriplan’s compensation plan so attractive is that by enrolling members into the health plans or recruiting people into your organization, you are paid immediately which means you can receive multiple checks per month. In addition, all monies paid are on a residual basis. Ameriplan’s motto; work your Ameriplan business consistently for 2 to 4 years to earn a $100,000 lifetime residual income.

The conclusion

Ameriplan USA is not a scam. Ameriplan is a solid company with a good product that can be marketed with a good support system in place. If you have a desire to recruit your friends and family, make repeated phone calls to prospects, post fliers around town, send out thousands of post cards and think you have the ability to recruit hundreds into your business, then Ameriplan may be right for you.

On the other hand if you are looking for more of an internet based automated system that does not require the calling and chasing of your friends and family, then Ameriplan is not right for you.
